I just think Mongul suffers from his needlessly repressed homosexuality. He wanted Superman to stay on Warworld way more than any straight or rational individual would.

How do their fights against Superman compare?

Have they ever met before in comics? I always wished they would have teamed them up on an episode of the Justice League.

Plus, it was drawn in '95, of course it sucks.

No comparison whatsoever. Darkseid fights evenly with Superman, just slugging it out most of the time. The only times Superman gets the edge, was one crappy story, and when DS has been hit by his own OE. Whenever Darkseid uses his full power, Superman is completely outclassed.

The only Mongul until recently who was a threat to Superman, was PC.
