Akuma vs Ogre/True Ogre

No, Akuma flattens him. By feats alone, Akuma's too fast, too strong, and way more skillful than any form of Ogre, or anyone Ogre has ever fought before. He can't even touch Akuma.

Akuma wins.. akuma can destroy the world! akuma is like goku!

Sorry for bymping an old thread, but this changes everything: Google Ancient Ogre's TTT2 ending.

One "Ogre" (Normal form) scorched an entire city by stepping on the ground without even trying. So this makes Ogre win this round. Unless Akuma trains in the sun.

That's not Ogre's normal form, he isn't a few hundred feet tall. And, buildings are still standing.

And to add TTT isn't canon

Besides destroying an island worth a mountain range like Akuma did in SFA2 is a greater feat than city busting for the most part, so even the Tekken Tag version of Ogre may not be able to take this after all.

This is really not a good matchup. Ogre at his strongest form should be able to compete with some of high-to-top tier fighters in SF, but definitely couldn't be threat to Akuma, even at his base form.

Still think Akuma is grossly overrated. Most of the feats he did weren't even canon. Or am I missing something here?

I'm not sure on which feats are you pointing? His feats from the crossover games surely aren't canon. The comics aren't canon either, although there is an exception here, since two mangas published by Capcom during the releases of the original Street Fighter and Street Fighter II are considered canon. However, there aren't some feats worth mentioning as it was more like a story-teller.

About his feats displayed in any Street Fighter game (which are actually his best feats), they are all canon and are a part of Street Fighter storyline. This includes all of his lethal techniques and powerful moves shown in his endings, such as island destroying, mountain splitting, destroying a submarine from the bottom of the ocean, Oni Akuma feats in lava, etc etc.
