I'm sure it's in mxys nature to not die. The only reason he doesn't kill superman is because then he wouldn't be able to play with him anymore. For all we know Mxys killed him before and just brought him back to play with him some more. But for the sake of the argument mxy is here to kill everyone. Who can stop him power wise? We're not going by stupid PIS like superboy being able to punch mxy out, despite the fact mxy can be intangible.
