Alonzo is a gangster. Turner is just a pissed off black man.

Alonzo is just the worst guy ever.
Abel is bad too, but he has a reason that's he's racist. His wife was having an affair with her white boss, and when she got hurt, the white hospital staff didn't think she was in serious enough condition to help her right away. Now if you've ever eaten wonderbread, he hates you.

Alonzo Harris is one of the best villains potrayed onscreen.
