Exactly, its not that we hate the game, the game for the pc had so much potential but IW and acti's douchebaggery destroyed the game.

Why should i play a watered down last minute port? Thank god i never bought the game anyways seeing how so many pc players are getting extremely annoyed while playing it due to horrible bugs.

Hell one guy even got a message about "error connecting to XBOX live" on the pc version.

Man I witnessed a guy nuke 4 fkn games.

No offense, but I don't see any horrible bugs at all.

The only thing I'm annoyed that no dedicated servers killed the community it could be producing.

And that the FAL is a tad bit weak and the double ancient shotties are way to powerful.

Just got the lone wolf unlockable

got the mario emblem or whatever it is...

get a 10 kill streak without using any kill streaks. You basically have to uncheck all three of them.

Dozens of others on IW forums disagree.

The Sims franchise has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide, twice the number that of Call of Duty despite being grounded mainly to only one platform.

IN YO FACE HATERS! 😆

No, that figure includes the consoles and handhelds, too.

There will always be bugs in games.

But horrible game crashing bugs. I havn't encountered any.

Yeah, very mature from you....good one WD.

I never had a single game when I didnt get any errors like finding new host...cannot connect to host...server timed out or some hacker thats been playing for weeks.

IW new mighty server still sucks, us PC gamers knew this will happen.

Like I said...IW sucks at what they doing, it if aint broken then DON'T fcking fix it.

MW 2 is turning into cheaterstrike.

A. You would get the same errors with dedicated servers.
B. You would still get cheaters with dedicated servers.

1. Umm no.
2. Yes but they will be banned on the spot if a admin is on.

what? yes you would it happens all the time on DS's 😬 DS's have been around since online gaming was invented and latency problems like the one you showed have been around since multiplayer gaming existed dont act like its a new problem thats a result of matchmaking.

1. Yes, never been kicked off a server because the server shut down?, or how about when you get a lost network connection? Or what about when your client is not the same version as the server? Or what about when you kicked off because an admin joined and you were taken up a reserved slot? Or how about waiting 5 minutes to join a server because its downloading music, sounds and other plugins? Or how about when you dl a map and the admin ****ed up and its only a partial map, crashing the server and causing you go into your map folder and delete the corrupted map? There are many, many problems with dedicated servers. It's the same as matchmaking. You can also get horrible lag with a dedicated server also.

2. What happens if admin isnt there? I help run a communities game servers (Couch Athletics) and there is only 10 or so admins for three game servers. There isn't always an admin around. So cheating is just prevalent on dedicated servers.

1. I aint saying there wont be connection issues is just not the same ones like finding new host and it wont be as much.

2. When in a clan, we use Xfire so if a admin is not in game one of them is most of the time on there then they can come in and deal with issues. Members can also kick cheaters not just ban them if they need too until a admin comes in.

Are you playing MW 2 on console or PC and were you ever part of a clan?

Not all gamers live in the states, alot of us are from other nations you know....

And it depends on luck too, most of them are extremely unlucky, go check out the forums because it is nothing but utter chaos there.

@smas.

I have been playing COD4 and COD5 for years and i hardly meet cheaters seeing how they can get banned rather quickly and easily.

Compare that to MW2's cheaters that never get banned and continue making the game unpleasent(though i never played it, the forums keep reporting of such rubbish).

I play on PC.

Never part of the clan.

How many people who play online on the PC play in clans and know the admins of a server? Not that much. Most of the time they click on the server and play without knowing who runs it or who is responsible for the server.

As for matchmaking, it's better for somebody to play without worry. I don't agree with IW (more like Activision) who took away dedicated servers but I do think IWNet is the best out there for matchmaking.

But both ways have problems. That's how I look at it. Being part of gaming community I think dedicated servers are the way to go to gain that community aspect but if I wasn't, I couldnt care less.

Umm...wrong, the regulars pubbers and or clan members always know when the admins are on.

Half the time they will have a L or A beside their name or something a little off in their clan tag so they can notice differently from the normal members. At times the admins change their name so they look like a normal pubber so they can watch with anyone besides other admins can see.
