Ion (Sodam) vs. Darkseid

1. Sodam vs. Darkseid who is at his normal level, no jobbing.

2. '' vs. Darkseid with his empowerment before his fight against Orion in Death of the New Gods.

On a side note, do any of these match-ups have both combatants at similar levels?

But current ION has been portrayed as a jobber (ie. SBP single-handedly besting him).

With accordance to forum rules using the best of their abilities, ION 9/10.
But based on recent on-panel portrayal, DS 8/10

Excuse me? This is not classic Ion. Kyle didn't show jack as Ion 2 that puts him at Darkseid's level. And Yat showed even less.

Darkseid murders him, just like SBP did.

Kyle was pretty good as Ion. He effortlessly resurrected his mother for one, contained/controlled/absorbed a blast meant to kill guardians like it was nothing, easily sent the tangentverse characters back to their universe, and even Nero with a portion of his power was pwning just about everyone along his path.

Sodam however...is a whole different story.

This I agree with. Sodam just needs to be killed off already. The character has been ruined.

I think it's more a testament to Superboy Prime's power. ION fought him at least as well as Monarch did.

I can agree with this. Seeing how easily Prime blasted a hole in Supes, the fact that ION was able to hang with him an issue even while weakened is a good feat.

Unfortunately Yat's true suckage came about after that.

Yeah, Darkseid takes it. I haven't read the new GLC but I heard he didn't fair well in it...
