Won't say it is the greatest, but my favorite is the one from Freebird.
That is a good solo as well.
Top 5
1. Eruption(the sound that Eddie Van Halen makes is remarkable, and he says he could have made it better. Best guitar solo I've ever heard.)
2. Electric Eye(Glen Tipton rocked on the guitar solo.)
3. Mr.Crowley(Randy Rhoads was god entering Ozzy's life, as this guitar solo proves it.)
4. Number of the Beast(Dave Murray rocks on the beginning, and with Adrian Smith finishing it off makes the guitar solo complete.)
5. Jordan(Buckethead rocks on the guitar solo, the sound is also remarkable.)
I'll name 6-10 later.

I never understood the Stairway to Heaven, what was so great about it, but people have different opinions.
I agree with Prof. Carnaby in Comfortably Numb's solo being one of the greatest. Possibly my favourite. The solo in 'Alive' by Pearl Jam, at least the opening of it, I find to be amazing, too.
