actually, despite the connections, dc and vertigo ARE different. so this might not be the same continuity.

It fit into continuity okay. The Presence gave Synnar the power to form the first celestial objects. The Source, the Angels, etc. They still created things after that.

But it showed him creating everything. Which was done by Michael and shapes by Lucifer. Meh, oh well, DCU/Vertigo continuity is confusing enough after Final Crisis and the whole Mandrakk/Monitors situation.

Vertigo and the mainstream DCU are completely separate continuities. ie. just because it happened a certain way within the Vertigo-verse, doesn't mean squat where the mainstream DCU is concerned (and vice versa).

Besides what Galan just said, I thought it was only the one universe which Michael created. And if we're taking that in context, that'd be the Vertigoverse.

Well, it's stated in Lucifer #26 that Michael and Lucifer created teh multiverse IIRC.

^one MULTIverse.

It was stated in 'Lucifer: Nirvanna' that Lucifer's creation = a multiverse. That's all I remember, though.

Death mentions the big bang and Universe - Multiverse was not mentioned.

But in Nirvana Lucifer tells mazikeen that he has created a multiverse

It's safe to asume that Lucifer has the ability to create a multiverse. Often universe and multiverse are interchanged words :/

Lucifer and Michael are the first 2 beings that Yahweh created, and which from everything else developed, per Vertigo continuity. Which, isn't the same with the main DCU continuity.

I still take anything Starlin writes with a grain of salt though, since one of his other "OMG so powerfull" characters, the 'Dark side of the Source' was retconned into not being what was presented to be by him, and especially since Superman Beyond made it clear what 'God' truly is.
