A good film that stills looks good today. I just wondering if ever 2061 and 3001 will ever become films like 2001 & 2010.

A sci fi classic, and a brilliant piece of film making. It was on all the time as I was growing up, my Mum's a massive fan of the film.

Just watched both 2001 & 2010 back to back and I have a question. Where dose that pod come from in 2010? We know from 2001 Discovery only has three, the first one was lost when Hal 9000 used it to kill Poole. The second one was lost when Bowman used the emergency door to get back on board and finally him and the last pod were lost when passing though the star gate.
