Too much school for doctor though 🙁

Thats why I just want enough money to make a contribution towards people or just enough to live life it was meant to be, enjoying life!!

Besides the person who said teacher and the guy above this post, has anyone posted an "ideal job" that wouldn't result in themselves or a product of themselves being on TV or the silver screen?

[/rhetorical question]

Novelist. Unless someone decides I'm really hot (which I am) and they make a movie of me sitting in a room reading from one of my works.

^^ Don't forget that the CSPAN2 channel has "Book TV." They could also make a movie based on the novel, which would be a product of your work.

The point of my post, in case that was missed, was that people's "ideal jobs" are quite flashy and, for lack of a better phrase, overly influenced by pop culture. It wasn't a slam on them by any means, just an observation.

I know, right? Why would a website about movies have posters who aspire to be directors, actors, and script writers, man.

Bunch of lame-o's. They should post somwhere else. 313

my ideal job would probably be an EMT. you get to drive fast with the sirens on, run red lights and cut people off. you also have a job that's not boring and allows you to see action on a daily basis, yet you aren't hated (like cops) and aren't surrounded by flames and smoke (like firefighters)

edit: i also think it'd be fun to be a photographer/cameraman for national geographic or one of those nature type channels. basically get paid to watch bears fighting eachother and lions killing zebras.

All the fun of carrying heavy equipment with all the rewards of total anonymity!

lol, that'd be fine with me. would at least be exciting rather than some boring job in an office somewhere.

besides, i'd much rather have to drag around heavy equipment and be anonymous than be in the spotlight with everyone knowing my name, and being subjected to constant scrutiny and surveillance.

I see where you're getting at and that's fine, but truth be told, 99% of the users on the KMC forums know as much about films as I do about the biological composition of cow manure. Just look at any Versus forum or the Movie Discussion forum itself, for crying out loud.

I'm not saying that naive movie buffs can't have dreams, because they can. They're just dreams that will never come true.

i would a social lite..theyre famous for nothing..make a lot of money for making appearances and looking pretty ..sounds fun

I was being a smartass...and I think you knew that already. Just throwing it out there, just in case.

I agree with you on some level. However, the people who posted about their "movie" goals could very well have a chance.

Tends to result in people hating you no matter what you do. Not worth the stress.
