How the hell is Corbyn a ****? He's a politician who doesn't speak entirely in catchphrases, he wants to build a more stable society, he wants life to be better for everyone across the board. Do you have even the slightest grip of British politics? He may be far from perfect, but he's the best candidate we've had in a long time.

A lot of the smearing of his character is quite inaccurate, too. Like the idea that he's a pacifist. He's already stated that he's going to take the fight to ISIS, and combat terrorism at home by improving police forces (the Tories have heavily damaged out police force – May was told up-front by an ex-police official that her cuts would increase the risk of terrorism, and she laughed him off and called him a fear-monger. Then what? Oh, yeah, London, then Manchester, then London again. Thanks, Tories).

Damn Scribble, I get why you're so stressed if you feel he is the best you guys have had in a long time. That is bleak.

You're not explaining why he's bad though...

My bad Scrib, got the wrong information and heard he used to support the IRA.

Indeed I learned a lesson. Glad I was wrong.

Oh yeah, there's so much shit being smeared about him. The Tories have a literal ex-IRA associate in their party, yet try that shit with Corbyn, who was trying to broker a peace deal with the IRA (in the '90s, I believe).

You know how the US media goes for Trump? Well, Corbyn is the left-wing British Trump in that regard. The media just hate him.

I doubt you wanna compare him to Trump, because people will just say they go after Trump like that cuz he totes deserves it.

Well, Trump and Corbyn both say things that are easily misconstrued or able to be twisted. I may be anti-Trump, but a lot of the time some of the specific things he says are exaggerated for the sake of shock news.

I don't understand why the media hates Trump so much, though, since he's a billionaire and the people who own the papers are billionaires, you think they'd be chummy. The UK newspapers hate Corbyn because he's the only party candidate who's threatening to pull the billionaires into check.

I feel like a tablet is stuck in my throat

The media hates him because he talks shit about them. They have never had to truly deal with it on this level. Even when Obama went after FOX news most told themselves "eh, it's just FOX". That is assuming they tried to justify it at all, most probably didn't it.

It was Morning Joe's girlfriend Mika on MSNBC that fully summed up the media for me. I think they were whining about...something, but she laments someone is trying to tell people what to think, but that doing that is "their job". Meaning it is the medias job to tell us folk what to think. That is what they truly believe too.

Trump will talk shit and he won't even bother to try to dress up the insult. That is why they are steamed. Oh and because despite all their negative coverage he still won and they can't stand it.

IMO that is why Trump left up the covfefe typo for so long, he knew they'd lose their minds over it, and they did. Think about that for a second, all the real problems we have, not just in this country, but the world. Trump throws them into a frenzy with a misspelled word. If people want to say Trump is stupid, that especially makes the media dancing to his drum beat so steadily all the more dangerous.

Anyone ever watch Eerie Indiana?!?!

Isn't there a thread in GDF for this

That does seem to be the most obvious answer. He probably shouldn't bait them so much though, it only makes it worse... kind of. I mean Corbyn ignores all media stuff, he barely even acknowledges it, but they still go after him I guess. Media gonna media though innit

let's talk about welshy instead

One time I heard welshy poop and it sounded like two rocks being thrown into a pond 🙂

Why do you keep telling people that
