What state do you live in

Illinois, and yeah our taxes are high. My city has been run by Democrats for a long time unfortunately, so the city has slowly been going down the drain. We have more people leaving the city than we have coming to the city. In fact I believe I heard on the radio we are number 1 in the country when it comes to the amount of people moving here vs the amount of people leaving. Yet nope, the Dems just wanna double down on their BS, it sucks.

Part of me would prefer to leave this city and go to my cottage in Indiana.

VΛ y'all

Run by politicians that are Democrats that are slowly ruining this city. When we have more people leaving than coming in it's a problem.

Though speaking of the soda tax I remember hearing about another state, I think New York, also trying to introduce a soda tax in order to fight obesity. I guess the logic being if the soda is more expensive people won't buy it as much. But if you're going to make the unhealthy stuff more expensive why not also make the healthy stuff less expensive? That seems fair.

I hate it when you're driving and you're about to make a turn onto a street and there is a pedestrian there crossing and they are just taking their sweet time walking very very slowly...almost as if they are oblivious to those waiting to turn. It's one thing if you can't move quickly because you're old or have a disability, but otherwise? Move your ass quickly across the street lol.

I wanna book like a round trip somewhere so I can just sit and listen to music
