On June 16, 2017, satire news site The Onion featured an article of professional wrestler The Big Show being killed by WWE after a seven-year-old boy wandered into a steel cage during a live event in Indianapolis. The article, meant to lampoon the Harambe incident, received criticism for satirizing the murder of an actual person and leading many wrestling fans legitimately believing Big Show was dead.[51][52]
the Harambe wikipedia might be the most surreal thing i've read all day
i would advise weighing life expectancy vs recovery time and age
had a ferret with lymphoma, vet said he could do the surgury but in 2 years it would come back, more aggressive, and he would be too old for surgery to be practical. since his life expectancy was about another 2-3 years anyway, i decided not to do the surgery. he lived 2 more years regardless before the cancer took him.
