oh man the first episode of Ozark is really well written but I'm having trouble picking up on the tone of the show
not that i'm complaining because i'm only just about finished with the first ep
but i'm kinda getting a sorta black comedy vibe from this at this point
i'm wondering if that's just because of Jason Bateman but i can't be sure yet
will report back after further research is conducted
It's really good

It's too early but it's already been too hectic today, I've had to answer the door three times, 3! Guy left a package for next door cause they were out, then he comes back fifteen minutes later, his machine isn't working so I have to sign again. Then next door finally comes home and knock on the door so they get their package but they also gave me a number for car repair guy cause the cars gone weird, keeps revving it's own, so I had to make small talk it was the worst.

Well every myth is true in that Aliens provided everything. lol How did we build pyramids? Aliens. How did the Christians cross the desert with no food? Aliens provided them with Alien food or Mana. How are rocks cut to a precise shape? Alien tools. It's also funny that the one guy with the weird hair doesn't have a legit degree in anything. lol
The strange thing is there is a very very small percentage of the stuff that is genuinely mysterious. Some of these ancient structures are truly mind boggling at how people with no advanced technology created them.
But then they will ruin it by saying Bigfoot and dinosaurs were aliens. The black death? Caused by aliens. Sightings of Scythe wielding inhuman looking beings on the outskirts of some of these villages during the same time period that we know as Grim Reapers? Aliens. The biblical flood? Aliens. Moses? Given artifacts by an alien, why was the dude practically glowing after he got the 10 commandments? Alien radiation. That time Lots wife got turned into salt? She looked at a nuclear blast set off by...aliens. Noah? An alien. How did they fit 2 of every single animal onto one boat? They didn't, it was just DNA samples of every animal.
Lucifer? An alien who just wanted to give people knowledge and was punished for it. Prometheus? Same thing lol. The Tunguska explosion? Varies, sometimes it's a warning shot from aliens. Other times it was evil aliens trying to kill us and good aliens sacrificed themselves to stop it(seriously).
George Washington met an alien, then saw other alien beings emerging from a space craft and just apparently rationalized it by saying they were just natives of very small stature and in fact not otherworldly at all. The first alien he meets shows him a future map of America for some reason.
