She woke up and reached over for him but he wasn't there, she felt her heart start to race as the room came into focus and she remembered where she was.

The cold grey walls and dim surroundings brought her crashing back to reality as she heard the yells of the other inmates in adjoining cells and the crashing of the heavy prison doors.

How had her life come to this? If only she could go back to that day when it all went so very wrong. 'If only' she thought to herself, as tears ran down her cheeks.

I just came up with that
