So you're in Texas right, how is it? My cousin moved to Houston a few years ago. Their house is on higher ground so they are lucky it was spared, but lots of people they know weren't so lucky. The school his wife works at is completely flooded.

Watching the interviews on the news a lot of people said that their house never got flooded. It was a stupid amount of water that got dropped there. I got lucky too. The water here never flooded the roads.

Yeah, that is good you got lucky. They did too, because I know my cousin does not have any kind of flood insurance, and they have a 2 yr. old and just had another baby too a few months ago.

Tell them to start the FEMA stuff. The sooner they get the paperwork going the better.

Yeah, well his wife is a school teacher and deeply involved so I think they are trying to help out with the school and students, since the school itself was flooded. My cousin has endured Chicago winters, but has never experienced something like this.
