How a song like -Rock 'N' Roll All Nite- was such a commercial hit still baffles me. It's pure shit
Just look at this shit:
You show us everything you've got
You keep on dancin' and the room gets hot
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You say you wanna go for a spin
The party's just begun, we'll let you in
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin'
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
You keep on saying you'll be mine for a while
You're lookin' fancy and I like your style
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You show us everything you've got
Baby, baby that's quite a lot
And you drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin'
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all night and party every day
Repeat ad nauseum and that's not even getting into the crappy guitar rifts.
I just saw a heartwarming video of a teacher proposing to another teacher that he's dating in front of a class of students. Cute stuff. It got me thinking though. The teacher proposing was a guy, the one he's proposing to a woman. If it were two guys or two women, is that still heartwarming and sweet or is it "pushing the gay agenda"?
Honestly I could probably be a conservative if it weren't for the idea of arbitrary politics getting in the way of my basic common human decency

To normal people, it's one person expressing their commitment and love to another.
To those others people, it's "gay agenda down our throats", "damn f*ggots!", "can't they keep that behavior behind closed doors" etc

Maybe one day people will learn to be nice, take some cues from Axel or someone. That guy's pretty nice I've heard
Maybe one day people will learn to be nice, until then people need to not be offended over every little thing, like adding a white character to an Aladdin movie. Or seeing a banana peel in a tree.
