I think I might have to make the decision to give up on my dreams and become yet another example of wasted human potential

Basically I need money and it doesn't look like I'm going to get anywhere in the film industry so I'm at a point where it's either straight-up suicide or accept my future is bleak and hopeless and get a normal, shit job

And considering I don't have the guts to kill myself I guess I'll have to take option 2 🙄

What about getting a "normal" job within the film industry? You'd at least be close to it, and if you still work on films on the side one day it might be a way in.

That's the thing, man, it's bloody tough even getting a low-level job, which is what I'm looking for (tea/coffee making, shit like that). They all expect you to be able to drive (which I was never able to afford), and a lot of places just ignore any contact you try to make with them.

It was actually in Film Studies but I got a lot of practical experience throughout the course

I sent my film to some festivals so maybe I'll get in there and it'll start a huge career but idk unlikely
