Good (bad) old London town, sir

That's cool man. Aren't there a ridiculous amount of pubs there for you to hang out?

Plenty of good pubs for sure, but it's like a fiver for a pint now so it's not great for my skint unemployed post-grad arse

Yes

Pubs, pubs everywhere, but not a drop to drink (if ur poor)

Pregame it dude. Buy the cheap stuff and then milk a beer at the pubs. Your main reason to go is social correct?

Are the pubs in London a lot like the pub in the movie "The kingsman"? If so, that seems really chill and a lot more favorable than the overcrowded nonsense we have in the states

Depends on the type of pub

You can get the ones where a few old guys sip their beers and it’s quiet and chill

Or you can get ones where it’s chill in the day and picks up in the evening with the younger crowd

or you can be like me and quit drinking altogether

I guess they are the same no matter where you live.
