I wish I did smell toast because then I could go up and eat some TOAST

No toast tho sadly

What do you think about what is happening in Germany though? Tbf that thing I posted happened in August actually.

It's like the thought police.

It is a dangerous step towards totalitarianism, one that I hope doesn't start becoming more prevalent.

I mean if that's true then he didn't even do anything vaguely wrong

I'd like to know more though, I'm trying to find a variety of sources on it but none of the major news networks have taken it up, so all I'm getting is stuff like InfoWars aweherm

So he got a suspended sentence, so no jail time, but it's a clear warning against anyone daring to criticise Islam in Germany

Yeah I should have given a source:

https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/11205/germany-official-censorship

But yeah, that is dangerously close to some shit the nazis would do lol. I wonder if they get that.

Totalitarianism has no political allegiance, so people on the Left see the Right as totalitarian, whilst those on the Right see the Left as totalitarian. The truth is that we should oppose totalitarian extremism in all of its forms. Both sides of the political spectrum can end up there, so we have to be careful.

you guys ever notice how totalitarian has the word total in it like the brand of cereal total so what is a totalitarian state is that like a state where people only eat total and every one is a literary librarian (aka litarian)

a = total = thats a brand of cereal
b = literary + librarian = litarian

a + b = Totalitarian

MY GOD HE'S CRACKED IT

You guys seriously do need to be careful though lol. As much as people in the USA cry about fascist type of shit going down here...it's mostly in their heads. Whereas some parts of Europe are not necessarily flirting with it, but they are making eye contact.

On both sides, as well. You've got left-wing governments playing with thought policing, as well as literal fascist parties gaining public traction. My country is trying to dive into extreme surveillance. It's spreading as a broad concept, and both sides enact it just as scarily. Hence why I have such issue with siding with either left or right these days, even though my overall beliefs clearly fall on the left of the spectrum most of the time.
