The only way to eat catfish is to batter the hell out of it and fry away any nutritional benefits it ever had.

I rarely have it, but a quality fish n' chips is one of my favorite meals. Now i want it; must have it; it's been a long time

With all the raw veggies and tuna I have been eating as of late, some LJS does sound great

LJS is similar to fast food? I think I've had it once, but if so it was 20ish years ago and it's hazy.

Long John Silver's is fish fast food to be sure. Captain D's is another. There were a bunch of Mom and Pop chains in Louisiana that I really enjoyed when I was stationed at Barksdale. LA is pretty crappy but their food is amazing.

Absolutely agree. They seem to care more about the food they make and their liberal use of spices makes them different every time you come by.

Well yeah, a place whose point is to put out food "fast" is more or less telling you up front they don't care as much about the food they make.
