Picket Fence Cartel is the seventh studio album by Project 86 to be released on July 14, 2009 through Tooth & Nail Records. As the second full release after the departure of their previous drummer, Alex Albert, it is not yet known who plays drums on this album.
The sound for the album has been described as "heavier", as Andrew Schwab mentioned on a MySpace blog that fans who favour the "heavy" sound will be pleased.[1]
On June 26, 2009, Project 86 will kickoff the "Scream for Prayer" tour with Haste the Day, The Chariot and more.[2]
