now that i think on it, waterboy and little nicky had some sensible chuckles

Of course they did. Adam Sandler had funny movies before 2010

Waterboy was decent back in the day. LN was shit, imo.

None of the older Sandler movies held up though, try to watch them now and they'll be zero lolz.

Yeah innit. The last time I ate it, yonks ago, I bit into it and tore a chunk out of this whole purple muscle bit that was practically still pulsing. Never touched it again

It's almost like you're suggesting my VHS tape of Mr. Deeds won't be worth a lot of money one day.

I still love sandler movies

The Cobbler is a great one

The Wedding Singer was embarrassing to watch half of with my friends

I left halfway through because the cringe was too great

yeah but the same goes for zucker brothers flicks, mel brooks, cheech and chong. at least for me. doesnt mean they're not funny.

Mel Brooks is great wtf you mean

Meh. Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Water Boy, Little Nicky, The Wedding Singer, Big Daddy, and 50 First Dates were all really funny imo.

i seen't it!

Genuinely witty and with good joke construction and stuff

every one, many many times. they dont make me laugh anymore.

While I agree, can you imagine someone trying to push Blazing Saddles now? look at the hell Tarantino caught for Django.

as i said, i think they all stand the test of time but to someone who doesnt know all the gags by heart

only way they could be funny again is if i'm watching with someone who didnt see it, then i'll get infected with their laughter.

haha, it'd get shot down in seconds

I tend to keep thinking things are funny even if I have seen them many times. Action and Comedy movies are really the only movies I can watch multiple times and still enjoy them.

It's a shame too because that movie is hilarious and the Black guy is the hero.
