Nah I'm pretty sure he'll still get royalties. The only case where that kind of thing happens, as far as I know, is when a prisoner writes a book in prison. Then they revoke rights to royalties if they get it published
For me I see it like this: his career is over. There really won't be anymore new big blockbusters from this guy. But personally I'm not going to feel any sort of shame for enjoying a movie. Especially given all the celebrities that had zero qualms in supporting and working with people like Weinstein and Spacey.
I wonder if these people are going to feel uncomfortable every time they see a movie featuring someone who kept their mouth shut about Weinstein to further their own careers. My guess is..nope lol.
yeah. people run their mouths about how horrible a person is but can't stay away from their works because it's entertaining.
it's real simple.
people choose entertainment over their values. that means they stand for nothing and only give lip service. that's the vast majority of people. these same people will continue to moan about the state of things.
this is why shiit will never change. it's all impotent rage from empty, bored people.
some of these people appear intelligent. they write eloquently. they seem to have charisma. they can cut down people verbally...but they are nothing but words. they lack substance.

I watch entertainment to be...entertained. I am not looking to them for moral guidance.

if we live in a world where it unavoidable to watch anything that doesn't have a weirdo in it then I think it's time to burn this mother phucker down.
if a person is so desensitized and can watch a weirdo without it negatively affecting you...I think something is wrong.

Hollywood is a cesspool and if someone is going to judge the content they watch based on their morals they will be reduced to nothing but Kirk Cameron movies.
