All my shoes are ****ed more or less. Walking around in almost-disintegrated All-Stars and a few pairs of Vans with the soles falling off.

My shoes have to be in pretty good condition. Probably a mental thing since I had terrible shoes growing up. Had to tape the soles so they wouldn't flap when I walked. lol

I was the same in school (minus the tape, they just flapped), although I'm still too poor to this day to buy new shoes regularly, or even just good enough shoes that last me a good amount of time

That being said, the guy upstairs died recently (cool guy, a veteran world musician), and I got to inherit some of his clothes. His shoes are a size too big but hey, they aren't in tatters, so I wear them with extra thick socks to compensate
