I always stress myself out when I get a new job and end up realizing that I did it for no reason.

had an odd open mic tonight

there was an older woman who decided she wanted to play the washboard with us for the entirety of our extended set

also they're going to look for a spot for us to play a paying gig

also am i bad at what i do or am i just not deserving of compliments because i had a great performance tonight and i didn't even get a "great job" from anyone and I need some sort of validation i can't just feel like i did something right without someone telling me
