Tomorrow is a new day

So I popped into my work yesterday to sign my contract

and Felix (that’s the main guy, who has an accent but I can’t quite make out where he’s from) is just soooo nice.

He said they can’t wait for me to start and if my hours aren’t ok then they are happy to change them as they are very flexible there and they just want me to be comfortable

That they want to do whatever they can to have me stay there a long time

Also no dress code so that’s great. He said just be comfortable.

I can’t wait to start.

He kept telling me when I went for my 2nd interview to just relax as I’m going to be part of their family.

My SIL was all like “get some new work shoes” etc cause she had a real stick up her ass about dress code at work and was extra strict and I said they’re really relaxed but she was all “well maybe start out smart until you know the place” like I’m an idiot and gonna turn up in pyjamas awehawe

My dads real proud. Telling everyone I’ve got a new job

Oh man neighbours are trying to help my dad with side of house but I think my dads making it ten times as difficult

He just has a way of complicating things even tho he doesn’t mean to

He’s old

Bless him

I’m glad we have nice neighbors tho

They’re always willing to help my dad
