Lol but most of the shit is explained away by just the different choices men and women make. Not people going "muahahaha she has a vagina?*Puts on soup nazi voice* Less pay for you!".
As for Hollywood, it's a special case because star power matters. Why were folk whining Mark Wahlberg was getting paid more than Michelle Williams for reshoots? He's a far bigger star, he should be paid more lol.
And I'm pretty sure the men on the BBC who took the pay cuts were some of their most popular people. Again, genitalia seems to rarely truly enter into it.
And in general I'm less concerned about millionaires in Hollywood and more about, for example, the costume designer or some shit. I care more about those women getting paid fairly than if Amy Schumer gets 12 million instead of 10.

"Roose followed up with a piece looking at the salaries of co-presidents of production at Sony’s Columbia Pictures division, Michael De Luca and Hannah Minghella. They have the same job and he’s making close to a million dollars more."
Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams got 7% profits from the movie while the male stars all got 7%. You can argue that "Christian Bale is a bigger star" if you like, but he's also a bigger star than Jeremy Renner and they got the same %
