So I'm having an argument on my forum about whether or not Star Trek: Discovery is an SJW show.

I gave up on Social Justice Trek after about 8 episodes. Really doesnt feel like Star Trek at all to me. Might push myself through the last episodes of the season just to have finished it.

Why does it feel like Social Justice Trek to you?

Almost every person in charge that I saw was a woman, you have two gay guys going around being over the top gay, not a single attractive woman and the main character is a black lesbian looking woman called Michael. Its just too much for me 😛

So if every person in charge was a man, would you call it Social Justice Trek? What exactly constitutes "over the top gay"? Would you rather they not be gay at all?
If the women were, iyo, attractive, would you call it Social Justice Trek?
What exactly constitutes "lesbian looking"?
Did you know the actress who played the mother in The Waltons is also named Michael?
Am I an SJW?
The top post's the guy I'm arguing with.

Honestly I'm kind of with Welshy here, those are the tropes of the back to the future series, it'd be ****ing weird if the last film was totally different to the other two. However I imagine by the third time around those tropes will have just got weary and tired so I also see what you mean
What you're talking about works for some movies, but obviously not for this trilogy. As you said: people got weary of it.
