I know what happened. They unplugged the car battery so the radio went into theft deterrent mode after it was plugged back in.

Tell me the make/model/year of your car and I'll see if I can find the activation code online. It's a Renault, right?

He'll likely need to call the dealer and give them the vin#, as there's usually more than one code. But I can try.
