Nice, speaking of vamps I recently fought one in Neverwinter Nights, a high level vamp mage named Soldais who works for a Dracolich. He can stop time, etc.My party member ran up to hit him, and was instantly slain. He had an acid shield activated that rebounded damage back at people...lol. I resurrected the dude after I killed the guy. I actually used sunlight too, a spell called sunlight(8th level). Got lucky and he failed a reflex save, and for vamps if they fail a save vs this spell they die instantly.
My DM campaign is getting pretty fleshed out now, at first I found it hard writing material that can be interacted with in vastly different ways on top of building a main story that can hold up to and change appropriate to character decisions, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. My players just hit level 6, got some pretty sweet quests coming up so looking forward to seeing how they play out. Gonna introduce them to the Underdark soon. Get mind flayed, yo.
