i'm honestly surprised it isn't more

Actually you should genuinely be surprised there isn't more. People tout gun numbers, but tend to leave out important parts. Like: we have over 300 million people and 300 million guns. 300 million guns, let that sink in.

30,000 firearm related deaths per year. Most are suicides(and if a weasel gives you the stat and doesn't note the percentage of suicides they are deceiving you on purpose). Around 11,000 firearm related deaths are murders. Most of the time hand guns are used and it is gang related. Deaths by rifles? Yeah, we have more deaths per year from physical attacks than rifles. Again: this is rarely mentioned.

But 11k, tragic right? An awful number.

Yet according to the CDC the number of defensive gun uses per year is around 500k at minimum.

So while this is a horrible tragedy, it never once made me think the country would be safer without guns.

its finally happened, i am so bored. at some point, not doing anything but staying indoors watching things, got boring. idk how. i wish i could've gone to the show last night but tix were sold out. i wish i went to the cardiff parade last sunday but i overslept.

i should be doing something productive but i don't know what
