Large parts of California, Oregon and Washington are very beautiful/nice, especially if you love nature and good food.. Richmond Virginia is nice, if you can stand the heat/humidity during the summer I'm sure there's others where I've not been.

hey buddy, don't jump in front of a train, okay
It's not really a choice, that's often how suicide works. It just happens. It's a compulsion within, it's scary as ****.

How is Captain's Chair, CA? I've never been.

There is this 2 foot stretch of land on the very tip of Maine. That is about it.

It's lovely on that 2 foot stretch this time of year btw.

Lovely, it's warm and it keep your butt-imprint just right. Like much of the Bay Area, Ca.

Sounds mint. Might rock up there some time and smash a few smokes.

You'll have to fight off Stephen King.

I'm 100% okay with that

See, I could just ask him if he'd like to read my novel and he'd run a mile. I have anti-King repellent built in.

Does your novel have: a writer, an alcoholic, an adulterer, and his mistress? Stephen King style!

(For those unsure of the reference, Stephen King vowed some time ago not to read fans' unpublished works, as he was once accused of plagiarism by a fan; King used to read a lot of fan-sent manuscripts and send feedback to those who sent them – due to this, he was unsure of whether he did rip off the fan's work or not, so he vowed to never read another fan's manuscript again, just to make sure.)

It's a policy all writers should have IMO.

When do you become a writer, though? Like I wanna read people I know's works without fear of that, I'm not published or anything, what do?

King obviously made the right decision though, but he left it quite late. He was smashing books out in the 70s tbf.

Did not know that about King, was a solid thing he did there for his fans, too bad it had to stop.

Yeah, he's a good guy. He still champions published authors whose work he has read / watched.
