Hideki Tojo December 30, 1884 – December 23, 1948)was a general of the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA), the leader of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association, and the 27th Prime Minister of Japan during much of World War II, from October 17, 1941, to July 22, 1944. As Prime Minister, he was responsible for ordering the attack on Pearl Harbor, which initiated war between Japan and the United States, although planning for it had begun in April 1941, before he entered office. After the end of the war, Tojo was arrested and sentenced to death for war crimes by the International Military Tribunal for the Far East, and hanged on December 23, 1948. -snip

Agreed, probably wouldn't take a knee during the playing of their anthem either.

Still trig'd over people protesting peacefully and quietly I see. Very un-American, you are.

Why not combine soccer and rugby?
how'd you go about doing that

I'd be interested in seeing that happen anyway

It would be Un-American to say they don't have the right to do what they did.

It's not Un-American to criticize people for being weasels.

Remember Pele

Sounds like the name of a horse. Did it win a lot of races?

It's one of the most famous football players of all time

He popularized Soccer like Muhammad Ali did boxing.
That gif in your quote is him dribbling the ball.

I see no gif. Just this: (o

Do you know what a gif is

You know what might be considered a combination of football and rugby? Gaelic football or Australian rules football

Idk much about either but seen it once or twice

Messi is likely going to take Pele's spot as best footballer of all time in the coming years. That little guy is magical on the field.

When the internet started all we used were % and the rest of the keys.
% for instance would be Pele doing his most famous backward facing over the head goal.

We're blessed that both Ronaldo and Messi are around at the same time. Imagine if Pele played opposite Diego maradona

They're like the rock and stone cold of football

Both are legends on their own but together it's something else

Gimme some of those shrooms.

Would you say Luis Suarez is the best Uruguay player ever

Maradona dominated the 80's, another Argentine midget.

I kid though, I don't think Pele will be taken down any time soon, partly due to legend and largely due to his 1281 career goals.

Not sure, he's defo a world class striker, even if lower in that class. But Muslera alone is probably a better goal keeper than Suarez is a forward right now. Best ever, Saurez is usually ranked in the top 10 for Uruguay, but not #1

Not gonna lie, a little worried he's going to get picked on and elbowed again and snap, biting someone, thereby ****ing the team over.
