There is this twilight zone episode where it takes place in the old west and this guy comes to town saying he can resurrect people. He proves this by resurrecting a dog. So the town says he should resurrect their dead. Then the guy kinda makes passive aggressive comments about the fallouts of doing this(like people who died with a score to settle) and the people of the town pay him to *not* resurrect their loved ones.
We find out at the end he was a fake and the dog was never truly dead, just playing dead, and he had some other guy pretend to be a zombie. As they leave...the dead do actually start rising.
Turns out all of this happened in real life except for the dead actually rising part.
Gunslingers, Indians, fake necromancers. The Old West sure was quirky.
