Yep, but stealth editing is a big problem...not just at the BBC. Edits are made to articles after they have been published and these changes are not always noted, readers are not made aware. It's highly unethical. It's part of the reason places like the NYT exist behind a pay wall, makes it harder to archive their articles and hold them accountable.
