Yeah, I guess that's what I was trying to get across with 'tacky', the whole look and feel of porn is really perturbing. Plus it creates unrealistic expectations of sex, and only furthers generally harmful gender stereotypes (you gotta have huge boobs to be sexy, girls don't want men who don't have magnum dongs, etc.). But peeps gonna do what they want at the end of the day and I just try not to judge too much (although I do still judge more than I'd like to)

not that surt wouldn't be honored to latch his mandible onto that tiny orange mushroom and suck his balls empty

Classy behavior. We were discussing the behavior of Stormy. Which isn't just her being a porn star. It includes black mail, breaking NDA's, and then saying she'd stop talking if Trump paid her more money. Even though before that she was acting like she was getting this story out there cuz "women need to know".

She has no class at all. Neither does Trump.

Oh yeah, neither of those people have class, I was just making a general point rather than about that specific topic

Trump was clearly mocking the man for his disabilities. It's not like that's something Trump wouldn't do. Period.
He would do that, maybe, but clearly there isn't much hard evidence that he has.

don't believe your lying eyes, eh? how helpful.

Just the video.

Dude don't bother, I've shown these people the video before. They just can't accept it. Or rather they won't.

I'm thinking about getting a set of gold clubs

If referring to a series of clips of Trump doing the same thing in reference to other people as a 'video', and thus in your own way turning it into a piece of propaganda that you can see as biased and something worthy of abject dismissal in relation to your argument, then go for it, man, that's your choice. Like I say, I'm fine with people doing whatever they need to get by, I'm not gonna judge you harshly for it. Seems kind of silly tho

Bingo.

I'd rather see more hard statistical evidence that Trump is harming the country than just spurious attacks on his character (most of which are overblown or purposeful misrepresentation from what I can tell). I disagree with him politically on many topics so it shouldn't be that hard to do, yet all the shit most people talk about it are these short clips that 'prove' Trump is racist, sexist, disablist, etc.

The dude's clearly an inarticulate bullhorn of a yank, but most of these personal attacks fall flat if you look into them, and personally I think it harms the anti-Trump side to be so careless when it comes to critique of a high-ranking political figure.

All we get over here is "Trump stood in front of the queen!!" and "Trump said grab pu$$i!!" and "Trump stare at sun!!" and like how about we get like some actual policy shit that I can get into and really unpack and figure out the details of instead of that tabloid trash

Because he acted like a fool other times does not do away that he was mocking a man for specific disabilities. If you want to ignore your eyes, cool.

Doesn't really seem that way, though. That Ted Cruz 'impression' was practically identical. Now, is he doing a generic 'spaz' thing to make fun of the person, and thus being generally disablist? That seems more likely to me.

I just watched a video of the actual journalist in question and his disability doesn't make him talk weird or anything. He's just an ordinary guy, really. His right hand is really small (kind of like Jeremy Beadle), but he doesn't really wave it around or anything.

I mean his condition actually limits movement, so if Trump was insulting his disability, you'd at least think he'd choose an impression that actually in any way was similar to the person in question.

Well the economy is doing well and unemployment is quite low. The problem is if this is brought up people just dismiss it and say "That's Obama not Trump". Yet when the economy does bad suddenly it's all on Trump. It feels very much like he can't win no matter what he does.

He's made some bad choices too. It doesn't seem like this whole thing with tariff's is going the way he hoped.

I think if you remove the rhetoric and the hysteria this country really isn't in as dire a situation as some people seem to think.

Ok thanks

Yeah, he seems to mostly be a fairly mixed and often ineffectual president than an outright bad one. The whole stuff with the Mexican kids in cages was a nasty situation, but even that was a combination of various things; he said he'd clamp down on immigration and did as he said, it just turned out that the detainment laws that were already in place were pretty bad and created unhumanitarian situations (if I'm wrong here then please someone pick me up on it, I'm not super versed in American politics rn). However, I also agree with controlling moderately strict borders, so I don't disagree with the intention, even though what ended up happening as a result was pretty horrible.

Actually yeah I also really hate his environmental stances, I don't think I'd vote for him based primarily on that. They're archaic and incredibly short-sighted.
