They live an hour away so I'd still have to take their car back to my house.

That is pretty inconsiderate on their part. They should at least call and ask days prior. And if parking is at a premium in your neighborhood then I think you would be in the right to tell them no.

I should have but I felt put on the spot and I know if I did I'd hear about it forever.

Meh their car is gonna be parked around the corner. If something happens to it...I will tell them it's God's will.(They are religious)

If their car is nicer than yours you should drive it around the city like in Ferris Bueler

I love that Ferrari 250 GT California, even though a real one wasn't used in the film. They molded one out of a Fiat iirc.
