The point is if ALL there stuff was bland and unoriginal it wouldn't be bought by so many people. Even if the general public swallow up mind-numbing, mass produced, unfeeling rubbish a bland album would not become popular enough to become the second most successful album in the world.Doesn't matter though I know you love AC/DC really.
I just came back from the Cologne showcase. Hell, it was awesome!
Special things that happened:
-Billie started drinking a bottle of beer, than gave it to the fans. I was the second who drank out of it happy.gif laugh.gif
-The audience and band sat down on shout
-A guy sang the first verse of longview
I don't remember more right now. I think I'm going to write a full review tomorrow.
set was nearly as in berlin I think. Pretty boring, but who cares. happy.gif
Setlist as far as I remember right now:
21st Century Breakdown
Know Your Enemy
East Jesus Nowhere
Before The Lobotomy
Last Of The Amercian Girls
Murder City

I don't in any way relate to "OOH BACK IN BLACK OUT THE SACK ON THE TRACK GONNA HAVE A ****ING HEART ATTACK" but I do relate to Jesus of Suburbia and Longview, for example.
True. Dookie and American Idiot are evidence of that 😛

No it really doesn't. If you think that then your just skimming over the albums and picking up the general AC/DC "sound". I have been playing Black Ice to death lately. Every song on that sounds different. Same goes with every other album.

🙄 Because it's the goal of every band to progress with every album?
AC/DC deliver what people want. No nonsense Rock N Roll. They basically laid the template for hundreds of other rock bands. And despite what you think they don't always sound the same. Think what you will, the millions of fans will always buy they're ****IN AWESOME albums.
"One of the worst albums of the decade" is a laughable statement.
