Speaking of which, why didn't the white walkers just use a boat and sail around eastwatch

Their Aura of Cold would freeze the water around the boat.

Okay then why couldn't they just freeze the water and walk over it

The weight of a thousand+ zombies would have cracked the ice

GRRM is a troll and he's trolling his fans right in their assholes

No, you're not getting off that easily. They could leave the zombies behind, hit the first graveyard south of the wall, and start a new army.

Pfft, you don't just leave behind a thousand+ perfectly good zombies. Amateur hour here.

I think there was some sort of magic used when the wall was made that prevented them from crossing. If you read some fan theories that was broken when bran was in the weirwood internet thing and got touched by the night king. Once he crossed it was free game

"dead things in the water" the zombies could have just walked the ocean floor after/before the walkers crossed. Come at me fegit

That would have added weeks; maybe months and the Night King in on a strict schedule.

Also, coldhands said that whights never leave footprints in snow because of how lightly they walk
