Personal and subjective opinion, but I’m not a fan of Scorcese nor most of his films. Taxi Driver was cheesy to the nth degree and it was utterly devoid of continuity. I could go on, but lack the inclination.

I won’t deny the importance it had on cinema as a whole, but I’d rather watch a soap opera any way.
