Correction: amox won't help quickly. And you need a prescription for it.

If you're in a lot of pain orajel is best for temporary stuff, do ibuprofen for long term after using orajel(if pain is bad).

I work for a primary care doctor. If people can get into the dentist/or can’t afford too our doctor prescribes amox and ibuprofen. Always works. Ibuprofen alone works. Orajel is toxic for the mouth
