Are the cooks real Mexicans though? Very disappointing when you go into a Mexican restaurant and you see the food is being prepared by Whitey, just ruins the glamour.
That doesn't really happen in the gorgeous Bay Area, California though.

No whiteys down here in nc cooking at a Mexican restaurant. Never in ny either when I lived there.

In fact, I like almost all my food/cooks ethnically appropriate.
The one thing here hard to match, getting harder and harder to find good Sushi shops that also have Japanese chefs.

Tbh I never ate sushi. It’s not that I wouldn’t it’s just never been something that I would go out of my way to eat.

I honestly don’t know where I would get good sushi in nc. I’m sure since I live off the coast there’s somewhere good but just never went out of my way to find out where it would be
