a president should visit a hostile leader when their is a chance of real negotiation and mutual prosperity in that negotiation. nixon went to china and opened up trade with the US, changing the global economic market forever. what exactly has trump accomplished with his first supposed 'nixon moment', aside from being handled by a despot while NK secretly continued it's icbm progam? the whole point of their talks was to end that program and they welched. is that what we have to look forward to? trump once again declaring an end to NK's nuclear weapons program and being made a fool of for the second time?
