Everyone in YouTube seems to go on about how people don't get notifications for videos or YouTube isn't posting them or whatever but I've never had a problem, like sure YouTube home page shows recommended videos over subscribed videos so you might not see everyone's videos there but if you go on subscribed tab it shows everyone's videos by who uploads most recently so i don't get the hubbub tbh
