They do tend to be more lethal, but right now people are ignoring the increasingly lethal methods of antifa. It's true they haven't killed anyone, but that's like if I shoot you six times and you somehow survive. Am I really better than a murderer just because you got lucky and you lived? They have certainly done things that can lead to death, pipes to the back of heads, bike locks, etc. Repeatedly hitting people in the head with weapons. They are lucky these people live. The white supremacists are on the outside looking in, most of the country hates them. It's not the same with groups like antifa, who are seen as just "people fighting fascists" when they've in fact tried to kill innocents. And I know when they finally do kill someone the goal posts will be moved and people will say "Well the right wing still kills more".
It's like if you get shot near your heart and in the leg, you gotta take care of the more serious wound. But if the leg gets infected it's not wise to ignore it because it could lead to the situation getting worse and you could lose that leg.
There is a discussion to be had about the rise and increasingly common acceptance of far-right ideology, and another discussion to be had about the rise of far-left ever-more-violent praxis, and the wilful ignorance of many on the left to downplay it.
Idk if it'll happen for a while yet thought, people love their little tribes right now

And you gotta wonder why the rise is. I gotta say, it seems like the left is increasing pushing shit and could that perhaps be why we're seeing the other side swell?
I mean here, I look at what democrats say about illegal immigration a decade ago and they sound like modern day republicans. Now they wanna decriminalize coming here illegally and give illegals free healthcare. Every single democrat running for president has endorsed that. Think about that for a second, that's how we get more Trump.
Idk. I just wonder if these shifts have stirred up something. People are willing to tolerate something only to a push.
Or could it be the right that pushed? I don't know.
The world often works in ebbs and flows of moderation / extremism, it's not really anything new. To find the cause of it, you'd have to go back hundreds, maybe even a thousand years, or even further than that. People are genetically different, making them predisposed to certain outlooks and modes of conduct. Similar types of people congregate for safety, and then have to kowtow to the stance of their tribe so that they aren't exiled and left to fend for themselves.
I try to avoid a modernist outlook on the different tribes as this is basically how we've always worked as people, to a degree. I'm just waiting for the day in the future when people can discuss what's actually going on in reasonable terms, as I believe that will be the sign that we've truly started evolving in a social, rational, emotional sense. I hope it isn't far off.
