Been doing research and the amount of physical shit that trans peeps have to go through is insane. I'm really considering it because I don't wanna get to like 50 and feel like I've wasted a life better lived but idk if I have the guts to see it through. Just fyi I'd never get my wanger chopped off, transwomen aren't biological women so I don't see the point in removing the ability to have orgasms just so I can have a facsimile of the gift that biological women are born with.
This is all a lot to consider

They were usually made in serious convos tho. I'm not sure how much my depression and occasional suicidal urges are linked to the gender dysphoria, but they did start around the same time - kind of tough to say, and I still don't quite understand the link between mental illness and the genuine belief that an individual would work better as the opposite sex.

You aren't aware of the suicide rate among transgender people? The number is like 40% and it doesn't change much even post op.
But the world needs more trans people who are willing to challenge the bizarre and damaging leftist trans narrative, people like Blaire, who accept their born gender and would rather just live their life as a passing representation of the gender they primarily identify with. Pretty much every sign points to me being mtf 'lesbian' and I think I'm old enough to rationalise such a complicated situation whilst taking mental health issues into consideration
Originally posted by SurturI'm well aware, and I'm also aware that men have worse suicide rates than women. So it doesn't matter if I do or don't, in that case. I'm still weighing it up, it's not something to do lightly

Well you're correct that if they want to be accepted they need more people like Blaire.
I don't know what is happening in the UK, but here we have had instances of kids as young as 8-9 being given hormone blockers cuz they identify as a different gender. Some states will allow a 15 yr. old to get gender reassignment surgery for free and without the permission of a parent.
We bizarrely allow transgender women to compete in sports against biological women. Which may be fine for little kids, but when you get to high school level with scholarships, etc on the line...
Originally posted by SurturThis is the kind of thing I want to be able to take a stand against, but as it is, I can't do that without being another 'cis white male'. It's an issue close to my heart and irritates me that I can't talk about it. I think you should be 18+ before deciding if you're trans or not fully and receiving therapy etc., and that maybe there should just be a trans sports league because transwomen engaging in biological women's sports is scientifically unfair.

All this 'theybie' shit and general leftist lgbt+ including children stuff is horrible and we need more trans people taking a stand
