Consider some of the front runners for the democrats running for president say things like:
"On my first day as president, I will sign an executive order that puts a total moratorium on all new fossil fuel leases for drilling offshore and on public lands. And I will ban fracking—everywhere."
Trump might not be such an awful choice.
Originally posted by walshyI was always essentially for Brexit, I just didn't trust the Cons or Labour to do it right. If it's gonna happen then Brexit party is the best choice. Plus they're generally a bunch of right-leaning liberals / libertarians, which I align roughly to politically, and they'll do something about the goddamn immigration / refugee issue we have
what happened to you? What have you done with the real scribble!?
I'm not anti-immigration, I'm anti-mass-immigration. Living in hot seat London, I've seen the damage excess immigration has caused. Even the old school immigrants are mostly against mass immigration, because they actually want to assimilate and become 'British' rather than having fled from one country to have the country they fled to flooded by the same issues
The only Dem I can get behind is Yang, but I think he needs more time to learn the ropes. He doesn't seem like a quitter either, so give him four years and he'll be in a better position to win. Four more years of Trump, then switch to sensible and economically forward-thinking Yang for a bit and see where it goes from there
