most of my colds barely last 24 hours. I hypothesized long ago that excessive use of antibiotics weakens the immune system. if I feel like my life is in danger I'll take them, but only then

I agree. Just the way you described it I would think you needed a antibiotics. Zpak is a mild antibiotic and works well for sinusitis conditions.

had to push myself hard this week which probably prolonged it. now I will rest for the weekend and hopefully that will be the end of it
