Watching "The movies that made us" ghostbusters ep, I knew that John Belushi was meant to be an original Ghostbuster, but I didn't know Eddie Murphy was also supposed to be one.
Also it kinda disproves the "Slimer is based on Belushi" claim. The guy who designed Slimer was *told* to change it to look like Belushi, but he never did and just lied and said he did cuz those who told him had never seen the original lol.
